The photography for our wedding was a complete disaster. The photographer was unorganized and was unable to get the photos we had asked for. He was very slow paced and missed many family photos as well as photos that were requested previously of the bridal party. The pictures had no creativity or (thats what was requested, unique posses) variety. The company gave us a re-shoot (free photographer and small stipend for costs) after the wedding to get pictures that were missed. As great as it was to have a re-shoot it cost us to get flowers, a tux, hair and nails done.

The videographer was the sweetest and tried his best to help out...
The DJ not so bad but played a few song on our do not play list...
BUT the photographer who was supposed to be their best was terrible, she got drunk and flipped out in the middle of our wedding and ruined our pics! The company barely did anything to make up for it (100 bucks in credit towards the horrible pics).

I am going to guess every wedding has it's own problems, but they tried to resolve the issues. My photographer was scheduled for the wrong time. They notified that she had prior engagements only days before my wedding and after they had already received their payment in full. My DJ, and Videographer were OK. The same can ot be said for the replacement photographer.

The company was great to deal with but when it came time to dealing with the photo guy, it was hard.
We did not get all the photos we were told we would, so I am fighting with them now to get the remander of my pics.
The dj did not play the music we told him to, but played everything we told him not to play .

Thepros make the process look easy, but I was very disappointed in the quality and types of photes I received. Many of the photos were of us with our eyes closed and there were only 500 pictures. A friend of mine who was 9 months pregnant and a photographer said she takes almost a 1000 digital photos at a wedding. There were lots of pictures of me and my husband, but only 2 of my guests. No table photos or people mingling. He was at the recption with us for 3 hours and there are only a handful of photos. I thought I covered all the bases, but I guess not! Just very disappointing for the money I spent.

Our photographer was very personable, He did everything that was asked of him. Overall most of the pictures were good. We did have a problem with white spots on many of the pictures that were taken outside, they wanted 39.00 each print to fix, thought that was terrible, it was not our fault that they didnt come out. Overall a lot of money for not alot of photos.

We used the pros for photography and were very disappointed in the quality of the photographer and the photos he took. The DJ on the other hand was amazing.

I have no sound on my video and when I called their customer service department for an answer I was avoided like the plague. I have been waiting for 5 months for a "supervisor" to contact me. After almost 10 phone calls to their office I have choosen to give my lawyer a call and they are currently handling the situation. The photographer and videographer were very nice people and their customer service while booking your event are extremely nice and professional. However when it comes to addressing a concern of someone who has already paid for their packages, they completly fail. I was put on the phone with a "manager" at one point who proceeded to tell me the reason my quality of pictures and video were not great was because I choose the lowest packages they offer. I had spent almost $3,000.00 and I expected some quality. My photographs were taken half in the sunlight and the other half of the people were in the shade causing extremely BAD pictures. I was told if i wanted them fixed I would have to pay for an upgrade in my package to include digital imaging.

My wedding day countdown started with me in tears becausem my photographer had not arrived. So, I called him only to find out that he was at my house instead of being at the venue-"he looked on the wrong paper". So, I had to go ahead and get ready, missing all of the photos I had looked forward to. I let him know ahead of time that I really liked artistic and photojournallistic photos. When they came in they were ok. There are a few great ones but over all I was not overly excited. He tryed to make up for being late by staying an extra half hour and having a drink at the bar with us, this does NOT make up for the missed photos. The photographer seemed to be doing well. I told him I did not want the guests to notice him and he was doing a good job of that. However when I received the video I cryed again. 1st the voice over at the begining was NOT ME!!!! They had messed up and put some other bride on my video. During the ceremony we had 2 cameras but only one camera man so one was stationary. This camera was set up so poorly that when they go to shots from that camera on the video the top of the pastors head is cut off and you can only see my husbands hand! The camera being held my the camera man only shows the back of my husbands head! So upsetting!!! What I could not wait to see turned out to be a big dissapointment. The worst part is that there is nothing they can do to fix it. They can't go back in time and do a better job. I just spent a lot of money for a very poor product. Book this compant AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! It seems there services are hit or miss. Good Luck!

The pros seemed to have it all when we researched them etc...THEY DON'T. Our videographer was terrible. The limo pulled up to the church and they she was ready to get the shot of me coming out of the limo to walk up the steps of the cathedral standing there in wrinkled clothes that looked like her pajamas literally. AFter she got the shot I went over to introduce myself and thank her for being there to share my day. She did not even look at me or acknowledge my kindness nothing. I have not recieved the video back so I do not know how she behaved in the cathedral so I cannot comment on that. At the reception however she was a nightmare again. We had talked twice before the event in great detail about what my husband and I wanted and evern more specifically what we did not want shot at the reception. Well, everything we specifically did not want to be on our video was. My entire family has been commenting on how terrible and unprofessional she was. It's so bad that we are absolutely terrified to get our video back, which is especially sad because we went over budget because we loved and believed this company. We were WRONG.
Our photographer, nice man, but he brought me to tears the day of my wedding. And not happy tears. He showed up with a home camera first off! Second, we spent a ridiculous amount of money just on our venue site alone because it has the most beautiful views of DC imaginable. We spent the money simply to get amazing photos. Our photographer could not get one photo! NOT ONE!!!!! Additionally, he did not provide us much direction when taking our photos I had to be the one to position us etc....which drove me crazy. Third, the most important photos to us, were not taken. Even when we were pushing him to take them he kept moving on. Fourth, our whole reception literally was wasted by taking the most ridiculous photos that we neither wanted nor cared about. He constantly was in our face- and we literally only had 1 minute to ourselves our whole wedding day without him in our face. It was ridiculous particularly since he got terrible shots.
Our guests took better photos of us then this company. Also, the company prides itself on the fact that their contracts state that at the end of the 8 hours you have each professional before they leave they will come and ask you if you would like to add more time (you must write a check on the spot for the time) but its still a wonderful idea. Well way before my photographer and videographer were scheduled to be done I had my wedding planner go and ask each of them to spent more time...both of their responses were no way. One even said, "i'm tired, i'm going home." Neither of them said goodbye or alerted anyone to their leaving either. So The Pros is technically in breech of contract.

DO NOT USE THEM! Spend the extra money- believe me it will be well worth it.
